Mark Hassall

Mark Hassall (49) was born in Bolton, Lancashire into hardy working class stock. Unusually, Mark was happily adopted, largely home schooled, became a Christian as long ago as he can remember, and enjoyed helping the poor and elderly during his formative years. He met Denise at the tender age of 17 and after a long courtship they have been happily married for 25 years. He has 3 children. Community and family are very important to Mark and he is very involved in his village ranging from the local Church of England, Village Carnival, Scouts, to boys football etc. Holidays are spent in a Norfolk retreat. Walking, painting, computers all feature amongst Mark's hobbies.

Mark has a wealth of education including degrees, diplomas and certificates in Psychology, Education and Finance aside from passing out as an officer from Sandhurst. For the past 8 years Mark has been a director and part owner of a successful wealth manager, Money Matters-Cambridge. As part of that role he is a regional representative for the Personal Finance Society.

Mark is about to take a 6 month sabbatical from his business interests to plan the next half century of his life! Thankfully that will include time to help in the next stage of ACFA's development.
