I’m Edward, a 2nd year BSc Economics student at Aston Business School. I’m looking to undertake a 3-12 month placement in investment management/financial advising.

I completed a work experience programme at Janus Henderson Investors, where I developed an investment case and delivered a stock pitch to industry professionals, receiving positive feedback on both my analysis and the clarity of my presentation. I also served as VP & Head of Finance for my university’s Economics Society, managing financial reporting across more than 25 events while maintaining a zero budget deficit.

I am particularly drawn to this field because of the opportunity to build intentional, long-lasting relationships with clients and create meaningful value for them. I believe these relationships form the foundations of both a strong reputation and a successful career.

The profession also brings together my interest in investment management and the wider macroeconomy with my identity as a believer in Christ Jesus. I would welcome the opportunity to work in an environment where I can continue to learn, develop my skills and make a valuable contribution to the business.
